  • MLB Extra Innings

I really like the MLB Extra Innings package I get on cable here in Lincoln. I’m an A’s fan, so it’s about the only way I can watch more than 4 or 5 A’s games a year on TV. I’m also a fan of baseball in general, so I invariably end up watching two or three games a day. It’s a great deal, really. That said, I really hated watching the A’s on TV tonight. They lost to the Mariners in pathetic fashion. Reading the stats in the newspaper tomorrow, or online tonight, I would have assumed that Gil Meche was dominant, and the A’s just couldn’t get to him. He really wasn’t, though. The A’s just fell asleep at the plate all night long.

That’s baseball, though. Sometimes you take two of three from the Yankees, and sometimes you only get five hits against the Mariners.

If anyone is interested, the Pre-Series Stats Overviews I do for MVN are up for the Huskers and A’s
