  • I’ve Arrived.

I write to you from the beautiful weather of Tempe, Arizona. I woke up this morning in Albuquerque (at 5:00 a.m., ugh…), drove directly to Phoenix Municipal Stadium, sat down, and watched the A’s lose to the Royals.

Two former Huskers played in the game, which was nice.

Shane Komine pitched relatively well, going two innings while allowing one hit and one walk. Though, I should mention that the hit went over the left field wall.

Alex Gordon didn’t get the start, but he came in late in the game. He lashed a single to the left field gap, and then made a couple nice defensive plays.

I’ll have more to post tomorrow, after I get a chance to write before I have to go find another wireless hot spot in the Valley of the Sun.
