Interviews?
I’m working on getting interviews (via email) with Nebraska alumni and current Oakland system players Dan Johnson and Shane Komine.
I’ve contacted people in the front offices of the A’s and Midland Rockhounds. I should hear back from them soon.
In the meantime, I’m working on some good questions for them…
I’ll take suggestions, too.
[UPDATE 1/17/06] I got a response back from an Oakland public relations person:
Ryan -thanks for your interest and we wish we had time to grant all interview requests. But due to the numerous media requests we receive for our players, we can only grant interview requests to those member of the media associated with news gathering organizations. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Dang. I’m going to keep trying, and hope that the Komine interview works out, since he’s still in AA level minor league ball.
